I was fortunate enough to start my career working at some of the most creatively awarded agencies in the business: Goldsmith Jeffrey, Lowe & Partners, Pagano Schenck & kay, Ammarati & Puris, Berlin Cameron and Cliff Freeman and Partners. I worked for some of the greatest creative minds, including Gary Goldsmith, Bob Jeffrey, Noam Murro, Dean Hacohen, Lee Garfinkel, Woody Kay, Andy Berlin, Arthur Bijur, Cliff Freeman and the late great DDB Legend Helmot Krone.

I won a lot of awards working at these agencies, but more importantly, I learned a lot about advertising and the power of creativity.

In 2003, I started my own agency, Amalgamated, with New Business Director, Charles Rosen, and Cultural Branding Strategist, Doug Cameron.

Amalgamated quickly became one of the most awarded and talked about agencies of the last decade. We built an impressive roster of clients including Ben & Jerry’s, Big Lots, Cablevision, Cartoon Network, Coca-Cola, Smartwater, Vitamin Water, CourtTV, Fuse Music Television, Fuze Beverage, New Belgium Brewery, Mike’s Hard Lemonade, Qdoba Mexican Grill, Steve Madden, and Svedka.

At its core, Amalgamated was a full service integrated agency. ABC’s morning show even described one of our stunts for CourtTV as “the best viral marketing New York has ever seen.”

Most importantly, Amalgamated produced unprecedented results for our clients-such as Svedka’s leap from the 20th selling brand of vodka to the 3rd best selling brand. Those sales contributed to Constellation Brands' purchase of Svedka for 385 million dollars.

After 10 amazing years, I left Amalgamated and headed West to assume the role of Executive Creative Director of the new and improved Crispin Porter + Bogusky LA.

Under my leadership, CP+B LA grew from a small production outpost to a fully integrated agency with over 100 employees. Starting with only Old Navy CP+B LA won several pieces of new business including Paddy Power, A1, Netflix, Vitamin Water, Grey Poupon, Turkish Airlines, Charles Schwab, NBA 2K and the Boys and Girls Clubs of America.

We were the fastest growing CP+B office with the most awards and the most new business wins.

During the 4 years I was at CP+B LA, we were the fastest growing CP+B office with the most awards and the most new business wins. I’m just saying.

My goal is to continue to make award-winning, big buzzworthy creative work that creates unprecedented positive results for clients while creating a process and a culture that is fun, collaborative and integrated.
